Trade Surveillance project

Context: The client required the introduction of a robust governance process and leadership across multiple workstreams within their Trade Surveillance Change Programme.

Approach: Delta Capita defined the scope, budget, and deliverables with senior management, developed frameworks, and chaired key forums and working groups. They created best practices for global transparency and consistency and acted as Data Stewards for data quality issues.

Outcome: The Bank passed their audit investigation with no findings, a marked improvement from the previous “Amber flag”.

Correspondent Relationship Remediation

Context: The client required project management and delivery of a regulatory remediation of Correspondent Relationships driven by BaFin.

Approach: The team established the scope of Correspondent Relationships and Programme Governance, identified a 70% bulk remediation potential using Python scripts, and created an incremental KYC framework for global teams. They managed the KYC uplift and reporting and implemented BAU controls through technology and process enhancements.

Outcome: Delta Capita built an automated MI using Alteryx and Tableau stack to transition to BAU.

Back office Agile Transformation

Context: A large global bank's payment operations (900 FTE) required restructuring due to the front end's adoption of a scaled agile methodology.

Approach: The mid and back office needed to align their governance, structure, value chain management, and way of working to the new Agile governance of the front office. This involved introducing agile concepts to the mid and back-office teams, establishing new team values and goals, and creating a delayered organisation to increase efficiency.

Outcome: The restructuring improved efficiency, governance and value stream management aligning mid & back-office teams with agile principles.

Test Programme Management

Context: The client engaged Delta Capita to provide test programme management expertise for a bank-wide initiative aimed at reducing payment risk.

Approach: We engaged with multiple teams to define the Test Strategy, tools, and processes, and created test cases in Xray based on high-level scenarios. Managed test execution, conducted daily defect triage calls, and facilitated the setup and training of Xray across IT and business teams.

Outcome: The team established best practices and provided Xray training across multiple locations. They managed SIT and UAT executions, including defect management, and obtained stakeholder approval to move to production.

Index Automation & Rapid Application Development

Context: A global provider of benchmarks, analytics and data solutions required a bespoke, tactical Python/cloud-based application to automate complex equity index reviews.

Approach: Leveraging a versatile technical skillset including Python, SQL, PostgreSQL, and Power BI, the team designed a scalable and modular solution architecture tailored for agility. The application was structured to accommodate evolving methodologies across multiple global index families - EMEA, APAC, and the Americas

Outcome: chieved full onboarding of original-scope population and migrated all reviews to a Managed Service, ensuring seamless user support. Legacy SQL Server was transitioned to cloud-based PostgreSQL with real-time index data visibility via bespoke Power BI reporting.
